Heritage Farm Park is a recreational and educational facility whose purpose is to celebrate and preserve the rural agricultural and cultural heritage of Northeast Iowa. Every effort has been made to keep the buildings and grounds as historically accurate as possible.

NEW
We now offer camping! Heritage Hill Campground is now open with 56 sites with electricity and many more primitive sites. Rates are $15 for electrical sites and $10 for sites without electricity. Horse camping and trail riding is also allowed. Visit the campground web site at www.heritagehillcampground.webs.com.

Here are some other features available at the Farm Park as well as some history about it:

* The Grand Meadow Rural School with heated restrooms and showers all year long. The upstairs will be used as a meeting and museum area. There are two campsites.
* Take a tour of a real Caboose!
* An 1890's Barn (thought to have been built by a relative of the Larrabee family) is also available for a tour.
* The Silo was donated to the park in 2000. It has been restored and a silage room has been added.
* The Smokehouse was added to the park in 2001.
* Clermont Riverside #2, rural 2-room schoolhouse was donated to the park by the Clermont Historical Society.
* 1940's Motor Lodge - Honeymoon Cottage is now available for rent.
* The Blacksmith Shop was put to work in 2002. It is used to provide a place for demonstrating metal working and is used during school tours and special events.
* A Sorgumn Shed was brought to the park by local farmers.
* The Track was built in 2000 for tractor and horse pulls. There are over 4 miles of trails and several covered bridges. In 2002, a waterfall pond and flower garden were added.
* A Corn Crib was added in 2002.
* The Log Cabin was added to the park in 2003.
* The Saw Mill is a great attraction to the park.
* The Outback Park and Shelter were created for primitive camping in 2003.
*The tower of farm equipment was added in 2004.
*The Farm Pond provides a place for recreation and fishing.
*Petting zoo on-site.
*10 miles of trails.
